In Southern Ethiopia, 400 km from Addis Ababa, lies the Yirgacheffe region. The Gedeo area is south of the Sidamo area. The impressive biodiversity is preserved and this leads to a coffee with a unique and sophisticated result. The hilly area with stable temperatures and rich soil contributes to the slow maturation of the coffee, leading to a complex aromatic profile.

This coffee is grown in "garden coffee", that is, small gardens where small producers grow their few coffee plants and then take the fruits to the nearby processing station. Most of these producers are organic even without being certified.
