Chemex 6 cups

Chemex was invented in 1941 by Peter J. Schlumbohm, a German chemist residing in New York. His model is exhibited in the permanent collection at MoMa in New York. The very porous paper filter retains the oils and allows you to extract a very "clean" cup. The shape of the carafe allows oxygenation which allows the aromas to develop and spread better. The result of this extraction is a low-density drink with a high caffeine content and a very complex and appreciable aromatic part.
