Fine Robusta Guatemala Onà, grown at 1,280 meters in the San Marcos region, offers an aromatic profile with notes of milk chocolate and hazelnut.
Finca Onà, whose name means "bee refuge," is a cooperative that has always placed the well-being of its producers and their families at its heart: a nursery and schools for the members' children have been established within the cooperative.
Since 2002, the farm has been Rainforest Alliance certified, thanks to sustainable agricultural practices and a strong commitment to environmental protection. In the same year, it joined the Association of Private Natural Reserves of Guatemala, which protects fundamental resources such as water, forests, and soil, guaranteeing the biodiversity of the tropical rainforest.
Rainforest Alliance certification is based on 94 social and environmental criteria: ecosystem conservation, wildlife protection, soil and waste management, working conditions, and relationships with local communities. Only companies that comply with these standards can display the mark, a symbol of responsible production.
